John Mcmullen Zander Krause Make Predictions For Eagles Week 3 Matchup Vs The Saints

John McMullen & Zander Krause Make PREDICTIONS for Eagles Week 3 Matchup vs. the Saints

What to Expect from Eagles in Saints Matchup

The Eagles are coming off of a tough loss last week to the San Fransisco 49ers and will look to bounce back against the New Orleans Saints. The Saints are also coming off of a rough loss last week being they were shut out by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Both teams will be looking to get back on track in this matchup.

The Eagles will need to be able to protect quarterback Jalen Hurts. Against the 49ers last week, the Eagles were able to protect Hurts throughout the game only allowing 2 sacks and 10 pressures. However, the Saints managed to sack Tom Brady 4 times last week and pressured him 17 times.

Key Players to Watch

  • Jalen Hurts, QB Eagles: Hurts has been playing well this season but will need to have a big game against the Saints. He will need to be able to make plays with his arm and his legs.
  • Gardner Minshew, QB Saints: Minshew will be making his first start for the Saints this week. He will need to be able to get the Saints offense going and take care of the ball.
  • Alvin Kamara, RB Saints: Kamara is back from a suspension and will be looking to make an impact against the Eagles.
  • A.J. Brown, WR Eagles: Brown has been Hurts favorite target this season and will look to have another big game this week.
  • Marshon Lattimore, CB Saints: Lattimore is one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL and will be a tough matchup for Brown.

Prediction

The Eagles are a 3 point favorite for this game. However, the Saints are a tough team at home and will be looking to get their season back on track. The game should be close, but the Eagles should be able to pull out the win.

Eagles 24, Saints 20
