The Minnesota Vikings announced on Monday that they have signed their star wide receiver Justin Jefferson to a four-year extension worth $140 million, including $110 million guaranteed.

Jefferson, who was entering the final year of his rookie contract, had been a top priority for the Vikings this offseason. The 23-year-old wide receiver has emerged as one of the most dangerous playmakers in the NFL, catching 193 passes for 3,016 yards and 17 touchdowns in his first three seasons.

Jefferson's extension comes after a breakout 2022 season in which he led the NFL in receiving yards (1,809) and receptions (128). He also had eight touchdown catches.
